1)    Day Fasting        : Breakfast & Lunch

2)    Night Fasting     : Dinner

3)    We do not fast to earn God’s blessings. We do not become more worthy/ deserving before God because of fasting. God is the Father and his heart is to give good things to His children regardless of our worthiness. But we fast to prepare  our own hearts to receive more from God and to receive faster

4)    Fasting  should be accompanied by prayer and Bible reading such as the Book of Revelation or any other book

5)    If we are unable to fast for some reason, we can inform another person to continue the relay, if possible

6)    There are various kinds of fasting such as fasting by taking only water, fasting with liquid intake such as tea/coffee/milk/juice, fasting by taking fruits/vegetables only, etc.

7)    There will be neither inquiring nor reporting of one’s fasting to others. If we fail, we fail. Our God understands! God does not punish us for failing to fast.

DIRECTIONAL PRAYER TOPICS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

1)     To restore first commandment to first place in our life and community/ To be prepared Bride of Jesus Christ: Worship, Intimacy, Awareness of and Conversation with the Holy Spirit

MT 22:37 Jesus replied: " `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' [38] This is the first and greatest commandment.

PS 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

REV 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

REV 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. (also Rev 2:11,17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22)

2)     To be a praying community through prayer, fasting and giving lifestyle: relay fasting and prayer; source of our power to serve Jesus’ flocks with power; preparing singers and musicians for end-time worship movements

LK 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up…. [7] And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? [8] I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

ISA 42:10 Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth … 11 Let the desert and its towns raise their voices … rejoice…. sing for joy;  let them shout from the mountaintops. 12 Let them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands. 13 The LORD will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies.

3)     To be end time forerunners of Jesus Christ to prepare ourselves and others for His second coming: To study and be prepared to teach the Book of Revelation and other end time scriptures through small groups, conferences, seminars etc; To prayerfully seek to understand the signs of the times.

REV 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

REV 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!"

LK 3:16 John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. [17] His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." [18] And with many other words John exhorted the people and preached the good news to them.

MT 24:32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. [33] Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. [34] I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

4)     To receive, recognize and use our Spiritual Gifts to serve the Body of Christ: Preaching, Tongues, Prophecy, Healing, Deliverance, Administration, Giving etc

1CO 14:1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.

1CO 12:4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. [6] There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. [8] To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, [10] to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. [11] All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. 12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. [13] For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

5)     Holy Spirit’s movement for soul saving work across various ministries in Delhi. God may have mercy on Delhi city in the midst of His judgment.

JOEL 2:28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

JER 31:34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, `Know the LORD,'   because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

6)     Prayer for Jews/Israel:

RO 11:25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. [26] And so all Israel will be saved

MT 23:39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, `Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.' "

ISA 49:22 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles,  I will lift up my banner to the peoples;  they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. 23 Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers.
